The United States has begun investigation into the death of Dr. Kathleen Montgomery who was killed by heavy artillery while touring south-eastern Myanmar.
U.S. Military Liaison Travis Cady stated, “It’s far too soon to make any judgement,” on regards to who was behind the attack.
“We have submitted inquiries and we are trying our best to talk to people,” stated Cady. “inside and outside the Burmese community to find out what can be done to prevent these future happenings.”
U.S. officials said they will release a statement following the investigation.
