WHO and IFRC Prepare Vaccination Assistance

WHO and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) released a statement today saying that they are prepared to provide vaccinations as needed. Both organizations recommend that all eligible adults and children be vaccinated against influenza and that all children under five years old should be vaccinated against polio regardless of the child’s prior vaccination status.  WHO also said in their statement that influenza is a common occurrence this time of the year.
