If you can’t get to your Green & Co. checking account on the Internet today, it’s not because you forgot your PIN.
A “hacktivist” group called OrangeTaskForce has claimed responsibility for a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) account on the massive financial institution. The release from the group, which says it will continue to attack the New York-based bank until Enoch Moses Kaplin, also known as “Grey Cat” is released. The hacker, who distributed software to circumvent an Israeli shut-down of YouTube following a airplane bombing by a Saudi national who said he had learned how to make the primitive laptop/nail device from a YouTube video, is being supported by a public #opfreeEnoch hashtage on Twitter. He was brought into custody after officials traced bank records of the Israeli subsidiary of Green & Co.
