Green & Co. Releases Statement on Disruption to Service

Green & Company the New York based banking firm which owns Aryeh Bank has recently come under attack from hacktivists outraged over the bank’s role in the arrest of Enoch Moses Kaplin. Kaplin who was arrested for distributing software to bypass the Israeli government’s censorship of YouTube was traced through bank records obtained from Aryeh Bank. The firm released this statement regarding the disruption to service caused by the attacks.

“We understand that our Aryeh Bank clients in Israel are currently experiencing slight delays in accessing their finances. We are continuously working to improve our stringent security standards and to exceed our compliance with Israeli Banking Regulations to ensure client confidentiality. We anticipate this delay to be only temporary and for normal operation to resume shortly. Thank you for your understanding, Green & Co. “
