With no information about the Las Vegas attacks forthcoming or comment on the postponement of the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday and the cancellation of the traditional California Governor’s Ball tonight from the White House, the Department of Homeland Security or other federal safety agencies, all eyes are riveted on Hollywood.
The Las Vegas attacks took the life of movie star and Oscar nominee Brad Pitt and at least 107 other Americans, who have yet to be named by officials.
Pitt’s widow Angelina Jolie and celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will be visiting the Skid Row area of Los Angeles when the sun comes up. They will be distributing the food Puck had prepared for the Governor’s Ball dinner tonight to the homeless and poor along Skid Row.
Condolences continue to roll in worldwide from world leaders, entertainment industry colleagues and others. 107 other families are waiting to hear from their loved ones who can no longer call home.
