South Korea refutes ‘Patileaks’ claims that 14 were double agents, executed

The spokesman for the the Republic of Korea, John Foster,  told INN that his country refutes the North Korean and ‘Patileaks’ claims the 14 South Koreans returned to the ROK from the North were North Korean double agents.

He further said the South Koreans were not, despite reports on Patileaks’ Twitter and the North Korean Web site, executed.

They are home and reunited with their families, he said.

However, the South Korean government could not produce any of the returnees for an interview with INN when reporter Christopher Robbins visited the country.
