South Korea says it is “alarmed” by radioactive incident

The Republic of Korea, 24 hours after the news of the leak of a radioactive cloud from its neighbor to the north, expressed
“alarm” at the incident, while North Korea announced that its leader had relocated some citizens.

No international body or U.S. leader other than the CIA Director has commented on the incident.

No information about the magnitude of the release, the danger to citizens or the geographic area it has covered has been released by the U.S., Russia, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, or China.
