A joint DEA/Coast Guard task force intercepted a speed boat laden with explosives that was headed towards San Diego Harbor.
The occupants of the boat were of Mexican nationality, and are currently being questioned aboard a Coast Guard cutter.
The Department of Homeland Security says that there are no confirmed connections with the attacks on the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas or the attack in Acapulco this morning, but they are currently investigating that possibility.
