Israeli helicopters have moved into Lebanon, according to the Israeli Press Secretary. The secretary said this was a defensive action on Israel’s part to protect Israeli citizens from missile attacks by Hezbollah.
Lebanon has condemned Israel’s move, saying its citizens are victims of Israeli aggression.
Israel’s press secretary has denied any reports of civilian casualties.
